Hibet KYC Verification Process
Hibet runs KYC checks to confirm your identity, age, address, and payment ownership before it approves certain withdrawals or clears a risk flag on the account.
- Identity (ID/Passport): Hibet requests a clear photo or scan of a government-issued document (passport, national ID card, or driving licence). The file must show your full name, date of birth, document number, expiry date, and photo, with all four corners visible and no edits or blur. Hibet uses this step to confirm you meet the minimum age requirement (18+).
- Address proof: Hibet asks for a document dated within the last 90 days that shows your full name and residential address. Accepted examples include a utility bill, bank statement, or government letter. Screenshots without issuer details and documents showing only a P.O. box get rejected.
- Payment method: Hibet verifies the payment method used for deposits or withdrawals. For bank cards, it asks for photos of the front and back with the middle digits covered (show first 6 and last 4), and the CVV fully hidden. For e-wallets, it asks for a screenshot of the wallet profile page showing your name and wallet ID/email, plus a transaction that matches a Hibet deposit.
When Hibet Requires Verification
Hibet triggers KYC when you request your first withdrawal, when a withdrawal exceeds a set threshold, or when account activity needs review.
Verification also starts after changes to personal details (name, address, phone, email), when you log in from a new country or device, or when deposit and withdrawal patterns do not match prior behaviour.
If Hibet detects duplicate accounts, shared payment methods, or a mismatch between account holder and payer, it pauses withdrawals until you provide documents for the person named on the account.
How Long It Takes
Hibet completes most standard KYC checks within 24–72 hours after you upload readable documents.
Manual reviews take 3–7 days when documents are unclear, when the address proof fails the date or format check, or when the payment method needs extra confirmation
